The First Team completed their season with a 4-1 victory at Wick on Saturday. A hat-trick from Damon Aston (top left) and a Ben Bissett (top right) tap in, courtesy of an Aston assist secured the points that saw the Magpies equal their highest ever finish of 5th place in the 2nd Division. The side saw starts for youngsters Joe Benn (bottom left) and Jake Skerry (bottom right), who aquited themselves very well, with the latter gaining an assist. The other two assists came from full-backs Phil Awcock and James Hancock. The final position is pleasing given the poor first half of the season and bodes well for 2012/13. |
